The Black Wave

Dusk till dawn, emphatic about the forgiveness of my existence.

I’d medicate on the grief that violently held on to my chest.

A drop of empty tears in the creek of the dark, quenched the pain.

A turbulent mind set on distraction,

I’ll ink you out, one word at a time.

And I’ll hold my heart at a safer distant.

Consistent in your vile ways, a mockery of life you were….
